What is included in your ticket?
An instructor helps you get started, and the safety briefing and board are included. You can try a stand-up sandboard or enjoy a seated ride on a bumboard during the shared 90-minute session. The number of runs depends on your pace and the time you spend walking back up the dune.

The reserve permit is extra
Atlantis Dunes lies inside Witzands Aquifer Nature Reserve. Each rider pays a R96 sandboarding permit on arrival, separately from the activity ticket. Two riders should allow R192 for permits. Add that amount to the ticket total shown for your chosen date.
The reserve is cashless, so bring a card or another accepted electronic payment method. You also need an original valid passport or South African ID for the on-site indemnity form.
03
Choose a day that works for you
You can reserve now and pay later. If your plans change, free cancellation is available up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Once you have a date, give yourself enough time to reach the dunes 30 minutes before your start.
04
Check your total before booking
The total is your ticket price plus R96 per rider for the reserve. With that settled, you can turn your attention to the white slopes. Find the meeting point in the Atlantis Dunes guide, then choose your date.
